Make Your Life Count

Sep 18, 2016    Leo Carlo Panlilio    Matthew 25:14-30

Pastor Carlo Panlilio gave a fresh revelation from the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30). He reminded us that we are simply stewards of our lives and we need to make our lives count. To do that, we need to realize that what we have is not ours. It would be easier for us to share our lives and invest on other people if we accept that God owns it. Explore our talents for we have been given something to work on. Never be afraid to make calculated risks and work on it until our capacity enlarges. This positive view of God will excite us to make our lives better. When the Lord comes to take back what he has endowed us, we will wholeheartedly return everything to Him.

This parable has given us answers to questions most people have left unanswered: on meaning and purpose. We are meant to discover our gifts just so we can give it away. Our time, treasure, and talents are not ours to keep but to share.

6. The true reward for working well is not more work
7. Everyone is given something by God
8. This parable encourages us to love His appearing
